Petite L’Appartement 4F, New York NY

L’Appartement 4F’s West Village outpost is a takeout window in a Landmarked historic townhouse, previously inhabited by James Beard. This complicated project required installing a commercial kitchen in the basement and 1st floor, as well as a front of house space with custom millwork and coffee bar. The addition of a retractable canopy to the historic facade, in the brand’s iconic custom stripe, provides the only branding identifying the spot to its customers.
